not to trivialize or change or whatever what this film is about... but to maybe learn by zooming out and seeing how we're doing a lot of the same things in a lot of spaces.. [not to mention that some of these spaces are creating/encouraging people that seek attachment in very unhealthy ways]...
imagine that with public ed.. can we feel what kids/adults go through in one day - in the institution of school [not in the safe places incredible people have created w/in the institution - which is great but currently not equitable] - what is happening in these spaces... and we're just accepting them..
prior to now.
if parents knew what kids go through in the course of a day.
if admin knew what teachers go through in the course of a day.
if super knew what admin go through in the course of a day.
if board knew what super goes through in the course of a day.
if we all just believed it was legal to think for ourselves..
