grit {jonah lehrer}



if they were on the surface.. you would have found them already.
9:30 spot on to grit
answer has been there for days or weeks.. we just haven't taken the moment to listen
focus on not being focused - that's when he became an insight machine
dang - 11:30 - forget the ritalin to get us to focus - rather stop looking for the answer, answer will only arrive when we stop looking for it - make time to waste time - creativity is the residue of wasted time - einstein  - go on vacation all the time - take long showers :) - so comes the other parts of grit - the perspiration
grit - the stubborn refusal to quit 
psychological adaption - gets us to assuming - becoming mindless..
grit requires passion and love (what never gets old) 
cities live on - they don't try to max creativity - which is precisely why they do..
