left davidson because the math was becoming arithmetic (she only had good things to say about davidson... this comment was just in regard to what math was becoming)

people who make video games are intensely collaborative and learning all the time..
amazing thinkers - understood math at a level... and a lot were told not good in math in school...
most were programming games in hs and were told it wasn't valuable

kids programming games when school values it - extremely valuable

fractions has messed people up - pushed down so kids could learn algebra..

because we don't trust kids with math - we force our math on them...
