The Reggio approach places heavy emphasis on documentation.'In education, there is often a problem that teachers focus on what they like to teach and they are not focusing on what the children like learning,'' said Dr. Spinelli, who has been the school's director for 24 years. ''When you document their learning, you know where their thinking is.''
