skills for tomorrow's leaders









  • trust of followers - trust is all you have.. hard to build, easy to lose
  • find authentic voice, authentic self - have to find life story and sense of purpose
  • leaders have to have empathy - understand the people around them - human connection
  • relentless desire to build capacity in those around them
  • devotion to interest of others
  • always explain why - identifies underlying values - creates a dynamic of accountability
  • curiosity - understand you don't know everything
  • more mindful - noticing new things
  •  (puts you in present - so you can take advantage of new opportunities)
  • clarity or purpose
