A man gaining himself
through others
Society... school

A tall man, with white teeth
He shines in the light
A man who has everything
The life
A boat
A wife

Yet as the picture develops
They see
That everything for the man is
Nothing
A yearning for
Everything
That is not nothing
But self

Revealed
Something
A glimmer
A speck of hope
Its vast
Its magnanimous

Self seen
The man for who he IS
he looks free
He looks without need
His everything is now full

The turning of the man
A gaze
Toward the viewer
His eyes
A true reflection
Of lost self

A realization
Gained
A self found
At the painting
Of a Picture
