There will always be things that we haven’t figured out yet, and even some that we get wrong.” ...“It’s about a methodology for investigation, which includes, at its core, a relentless drive towards questioning that which came before.

There is a veritable truckload of bullshit in science. When I say bullshit, I mean arguments, data, publications, or even the official policies of scientific organizations thatgive every impression of being perfectly reasonable — of being well-supported by the highest quality of evidence, and so forth — but which don’t hold up when you scrutinize the details.

they end up becoming a part of the published record with every appearance of being legitimate critique.

As the programmer Alberto Brandolini is reputed to have said:
The amount of energy necessary to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it.

The realest thing in our lives
Are the stories we invent. We live with these stories, we remind ourselves of them, we perfect them. And, happily, if you don’t like the story you’re telling yourself, you can change it.
open as in involving enough peoplelike when Tim Berners-Lee says, he had to give the www away, because it would only work if the whole world was on it. the more people.. the better the chances of 1\ people finding their tribe and 2\ the sync of humanity getting its day… ie: getting to dance the dance..open as in involving enough eclectic peoplesystemic change begs discrimination to infinity, ie: no more lables. if we see everyone as a thumbprint, two lovely/humane things happen, 1\ prejudice decreases, age/race/expertise/status/cliques, .. becomes irrelevant, and 2\ ourinterconnectedness (our one\ness) becomes more visible,
mechanism as the actual modeling of another way to live.. begs to be simple enough to be seen/grokked, aka: modelableYou’ll never ever be able to convince a person through logical argument or even brilliant rhetoric that a free and just society is possible. You can show them. You can start doing it. .. It really has to do with your sense of horizons/possibilities.. and the only way you can do that is to do something that nobody thought was possible. –David Graeberie: we learned to walk/talk through modelingmechanism as tool/placebo used in modeling another way.. begs to be simple enough to be used/accessed, aka: convivial, user-friendlynot only does this other way need to be modeled/modelable.. in order to hasten its equity/spread, the tools (app/chip) used to facilitate (ground the chaos of) the (initial) modeling.. should be simple enough for anyone to use/access/remix.. ie: without a manual/course/training/purchase.. so anyone could be/become a modeler..
deep enough.. as in ability to already resonate with all..not necessarily one that affects each of us.. because you could say – all problems affect us. (because of our interconnectedness. none of us are free if one of us is chained.. ness.) ie: climate change affects us all, but that idea is not believed/owned by everyonebut one that resonates with each of us. already. it would’t have to be pitched, explained, compulsorized. the energy/desire for solving/addressing already exists.. bountiful.. within all people.deep enough.. as in by capability of ongoing (self) re-generation..if … a problem already resonates with a human (meaning – it comes from deep within each one of us, as the root of us) the solution is already written on and burning within each heart.. aka: in the human’s being.then … sustainability becomes the given. 24/7 we have 7 billion people rebooting the energy. re-iterating the solution. re mixing the dance.
i don't believe in training people to do things. liberate them & they train themselves. help them analyze what's already in them. - Myles Horton - free us
the more complex the problem the more need for simplicity- Alejandro Aravena - deep/simple/open enough
