collective intelligence

in god we trust, all others bring data
virtual world and physical world collide
virtual world can record what physical world is doing.

the internet - a platform for freedom
very important if our why is to set people free.
a world where neither has complete control. perfect.

balance will cause more democratic societies to emerge
exposure of bad behavior by extremists.
courage is much more plentiful.

now 40 countries that censor the internet
if you don't like behavior of people, don't block content, just regulate people

figure a way to let this play out.. virtual vs physical, mediate, a form of collective intelligence around common morals.
it will be messy, but we will get there.

phones are tracked by 911 law, can't turn it off, we accept that in the vein of safety.
how do we ensure that tech enriches rather than devalues
shared value questions

we have to have a proper debate on it.
not sensationalized.
tech is our servant and not our master

principal - put your user first
give user a choice

16% of searches on google are entirely new everyday

the responsibility of building a global brain and using it for good.

the next 5 years for sure. (the next year i'm thinking.)

stopped at 33 q&a, hard to hear...
