my active messaging has been all around craftsmanship because i believe empathy made manifest is craftsmanship. empathy; that’s understanding the human condition.manifest; that’s making stuff–the verb–a little god-like power. and, craftsmaship; it’s the by-product–the outcome. if a master woodworker truly, deeply understands the person who will sit in his chair, touch his design, he’ll make it so that it fits naturally… so that it intuitively feels like an extension of the person occupying it.
