imagining what we could be about, if less of our time and energy and resources were spent on proof.
proof that most often is crafted rather than actual. perhaps.
and most often proof of things we aren't even craving in our gut to do and be. most often, if we take time to think about it, reflect on it, aren't things we wish for our kids.
so why's that?
is that?
and how scary to not have proof of things.. no?
well - imagine that we're not seeing people's true art, because we aren't giving them real freedom to be. we're saying, be free, but in this way. because that's how i'll/we'll be assessing you.
imagine people unleashed to find/do/be their art. the thing they can't not do. that seems like rigor to me. that seems like a community where no one has to be looking over shoulders or paying consumerism currencies or awarding ego/insecurity badges or credentialing (perhaps) false credentials.
imagine we just focus on self-assessment. i'm thinking - that's something very few know how to do today. imagine people knowing what to do when they don't know what to do. imagine people caring more than others about what they are doing. meaning.. they aren't doing it for show, they aren't mimicking others, they aren't doing it to finish. they are playing an infinite game.
